My E-Prime Day & Synthesizing physics

Image
My E-Prime Day” – can you diary your day in E-Prime? The weather today appears sunny. Our brunch tastes good. A 5-mile hike seems challenging at warm temperatures. A simple dinner and an old movie sound great! Synthesizing physics – “As above, so below”? Synthesizing physics is an interesting topic. We can take a look at consciousness and quantum  physics, aliens and mysteries of ancient cultures, the Absolute-Fragmental paradigm, western sound-based and eastern meaning-based writing system. It is an experience of openness to see what is going on at one level of reality and at all other levels.

Physics Week#8 Newton’s Three laws, “Energy Efficient” Culture, and Descartes

Image
Newton’s Three Laws and me Newton's three laws of motion may be stated as follows: 1. The law of inertia:I. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.  2. The relationship between an object's mass m, its acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. Acceleration and force are vectors (as indicated by their symbols being displayed in slant bold font); in this law the direction of the force vector is the same as the direction of the acceleration vector.  3. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. We can see them in our everyday activities. In the first law, a passenger in a moving car who is not wearing a seat belt will be thrown forward when the car suddenly stops because he remains in motion. In the second law, a small boat takes smaller force to propel than a bigger boat. In the third one, we can experience it when we jump. When our legs apply a force to the ground, the g

Chemistry Week #8 The diet suggestions in PH Balance & Thoughts on class discussions

Image
The diet suggestions in pH Balance: Acids & Alkalis & Anti-Oxidants Dietary lifestyles can alter our systemic PH  balance over time.  Ideally, our blood pH should be between 7.35-7.45, which is considered neutral. Anything less than 6 is highly acidic, while anything over 8 is more on the alkaline side. Keeping a neutral blood pH is critical for a number of reasons. Acidic blood can lead to serious health conditions, such as kidney stones, an increased risk for cancer, and can also prevent the liver from being able to properly detoxify. Bone density can also be reduced by acidic blood.  Here’ a list of common acid foods: Meat Diary Soft drink Alcohol sugar Eggs Processed food Alkaline foods help in countering the risks of acidity and acid refluxes, bringing some sort of relief. Most traditional Indian meals contain alkaline food items to create a balanced diet. If you have been indulging in excessive red meat, processed and junk food, it's about time you included s

Physics Week#7 Ordered Chao, fractals, and Consciousness

Image
Ordered chaos” – does this sound familiar? By definition, ordered chaos is a complex situation or process that appears chaotic while having enough order to achieve progress or goals. It does sound familiar to me. I have seen some of these examples in daily life. Yarrow plants vary in height. However, they appear to be shorter as the altitude gets higher. Sometimes it sounds like we're going in different directions. But when we look back, they all make sense. And a meaningful goal, a purpose is hidden behind our experiences. Fractals as patterns of complex systems  In mathematics, a fractal is a subset of Euclidean space with a fractal dimension that strictly exceeds its topological dimension. A fractal system is a complex, nonlinear, interactive system capable of adapting to a changing environment. We have seen some patterns in nature, such as snow flakes, crystals, DNA, etc. Fractals and Chaos have something in common. In general, fractals can be any type of infinitely scaled an

Chemistry Week#7 Alchemy and Hydrogen fuel

Image
Alchemy – science, magic, art – or all three Many people describe alchemy as a form of 'proto-science' rather than a distinct science. Alchemy is a mixture of practical and speculative knowledge about the nature of matter.  I think it lays the groundwork for one of the modern sciences known as chemistry.    Alchemy itself has the reputation of explaining observations and forming theories in terms of 'magic' or Divine intervention. Alchemists played a role in the development of materials and techniques used by artists, including the invention of oil paintings. In addition, alchemy itself is a form of art. Its philosophy, efforts to explore the natural world and beyond, ways to practice, express,  and create, are all the wonderful aspects of art. In my opinion. Alchemy is all three. Hydrogen fuel cells and electric vehicles – are we seeing the end of the gasoline engine, in your view? It definitely catches my attention when I hear the at hydrogen is a clean alternative

Physics Week#6 Are all vibrations good? Resonance..

Image
Are all vibrations “good”? According to String theory, tiny vibrating strings of energy make up every particle in the universe. We are a living energy field, and so is everything else in the universe. Are all vibrations good? It is not desired everywhere and can even cause great damage. This is because systems can vibrate so violently that the construction cannot withstand the stress. The bridge collapsed as a result of structural resonance. In addition, every one of us may have encountered people of low vibration in our lives. It's not a very pleasurable experience. Positive vibrations are high-frequency thinking patterns, attitudes, emotions, whereas negative vibrations are low-frequency thinking patterns, attitudes and emotions. We are naturally drawn to those high vibe people around us.  Resonance in my world Resonance occurs when the frequency of the applied force is equal to one of the natural frequencies of vibration of the forced or driven harmonic oscillator.  T

Chemistry Week#6 Avogadro‘s number and Thoughts on class discussions

Image
Check out the Amadeo Avogadro Link and report back on your discoveries. Here are some basics from this link The number of particles in a mole is called Avogadro's number or, Avogadro constant.  For most calculations, three (6.02 x 10 23 ) or at most four (6.022 x 10 23 ) significant figures for Avogadro's number are enough. Anyone who has blown up a balloon should accept the notion that the volume of a gas is proportional to the number of particles in the gas.
